One Brain, Two Uses: Aligning Live and Backtest
🧭 Unified live and backtest to share one evaluation core, blocking the looked-good-in-backtest trap. One brain applied to the present (live) and the past (backtest): the pillar that made results trustworthy.
In building rules, what we guarded against most was the trap of it looked good in backtest but behaved differently live. If the code that evaluates on past data and the code that picks coins in real time diverge, you can no longer trust the verification. So we structured it so that live and backtest use the very same evaluation core. There is only one brain that decides whether a coin matches a rule, applied to the present in live and to the past in backtest. This principle of unification became the invisible pillar that made every later experimental result trustworthy.
